ANKY by Anjana Bhargav

'Structured Deconstruction' was the mood, as the display of casual elegance unfolded on the ramp as models walked the ramp in Anjana and Ankita Bhargav's collection. Clean silhouettes and clever positioning of pleats, tucks, folds and gota work were combined with style and sensitivity for good taste. Colour palette was mostly understated blues, greys, greens, ivory and a combination of molten metallic.

Thanks for posting!

Delhi Fashion Week is currently taking place as well, and Lakhme India Fashion week is next week.

I can't believe all the organisers are trying to upstage each other with the shows

^ Seriously? That's crazy! I hope the same designers aren't showing at each of these fashion weeks!

Surily Goel

The second show of the WIFW was more of vibrant colours and shimmer as models sashayed down the ramps in Surily's designs. Pink, blue and parrot green dazzled the audience. Dull gold with a dash of silver on short dresses and tunics was a fresh change. Sheer, flowy fabrics added to the whole summary feel.

Manoviraj Khosla

'Hugging the softness within masculinity' that was the clear moto of Manoviraj Khosla collection. Targeting the young male client, the range was a clever use of textures as patchwork, pleating, pin tucks, piping and French knots. Cardigans, linen shirts, jackets and pleated details on pant pockets with surprising creative elements. Batik was a fresh surprise element topped with soft colour palette.

Siddartha Tytler

Siddartha Tytler's collections called 'Ambrosia' was opulent but chic. The collection for both men and women comprised soft muted tonal color palette. And gradually changed to bright, bold, shimmering sequined oriental and intense hues. 'Ambrosia' offered an insight into the journey of extremes in a color range of orange, lavender, turquoise, copper, matt gold, powder blues and mint. The creations were presented in satins, georgettes, lamme, glass nylon and linen.

Sanchita

Sanchita's designs caters to an international look with styles offering a new direction strongly emphasizing on texture. The use of bits and pieces of fabric and ribbon scraps add glamour to the collection. Colours are an interesting mix of pepper, cinnamon, and ginger. The gray grass nylon, organzas, jersey, ecru mulmul, chintz, Tussah and satins perk up the collection. Coral and ink leggings add to the drama.
