thanks honey~blade, i got the news about the present yesterday, so it's not that...i'm pretty happy with how my outfit turned out today, went against my original instinct and saw Brokeback mountain which I enjoyed thoroughly, and ate some good ol' authentic Chinese cuisine here in Toronto, so it's just been a good day overall.

I haven't seen the tees from s/s 06...what are they like? The plain cotton tees from the past few seasons, or are these tees with prints? That's pretty expensive. I got a look at some s/s 06 Y's stuff today, beautiful shirting, loved the polos, the layered-collar button downs, and there was an amazingly tailored black 2-button blazer in a wool that's definitely suitable for the warmer months of the year.

anyway sorry to take this thread off topic so i'll stop now.

You can have a look at a couple of tees here - http://www.pollyanna.com/onlineshopp...mamoto%20Homme

I like the prints, it may look abit childish or boring in a way but I think it's quite artsy and work well with alot of outfits. It does look like plain cotton and the connstruction doesn't look like anything special, as you can see by the prices it's just astronomical.

...anyway back to the collection

i jokingly put on turquoise eyemakeup at sephora the other day (before i saw this collection) and said to myself, hmm, yeah, i could rock that!

anyway, i'm blown away by this collection, simply stunned. it's beautiful - the wraparound jackets especially are making me swooooooon.

Some gorgeous gorgeous pieces... but I wouldn't touch that taupe suede-y crap with a bargepole

he makes all the other designers look as if they are using paint by numbers. it has definately has secured a spot in my top ten best yohji collections ever. i find it incredibly wearable and lush, with a dash of glam (velvet jackets and doubled up hats?) i think any woman who wears this would look like a goddess.

I love the material! It makes me want to touch it, I wonder if it looks as good in person up close. Anyone see it?

Absolutely love the new fall winter 06 collection. Sometime Yohji looses me on his simplicity as his prices climb skyward. This collection with its detail has me lined up outside his shop on Grand . I want it all......
