As far as I'm concerned, fall fashion starts here. The past two weeks have been almost meaningless. Now Yohji and his Parisian comrades can lead the way.

This looks amazing and so promising.

Eeek.....feeling excitement for the upcoming week! Starting off with Yohji is just amazing......! I'm loving the play with proportions from what I see so far!

P.S. Is that Amy Wesson in the last pic? Good to see her back too.

its all about being disproportioned...like the hats and the overall oversized effect.

^ you're thinking the corsetry?

i wish we saw more womanly collections from him in all honesty, i cannot relate to the shapes, but i'm writing here because i do love his washed (or crinkled) wool, and some thing in the way the fabric envelops the body..the fold the fly and front of the pants make...

*edit..and for those of you who know more than i do, how does this usually translate into showroom-type stuff?

I think what I always think about Yamamoto's shows: that the clothes are so creative and very appealing in the context of a Paris fashion show, but if I saw a girl walking down the street dressed like that I'd think she was nuts.
