that's amazing.
I just sort of found out about him since I started lurking around these threads, I still cant believe he does mostly black and completely get away with it. I mean, he really makes it work.
When I look at his clothes I dont want to see colors, I want to see shapes and textures etc.

I always liked a lot of things from the NOIR collection, its like the greatest hits of his work, but done in a way that is utterly wearable and not retro-esque... but then again, have you ever seen a dated design from Yohji?

Thanks Runner!
Where can we see the pics for the SS06 collection? Is it more moderately priced than the mainline or less?
Thanks again.

they will update the official site with S/S 06 next month.
yes I think so. for example, the silk dress is about 100000 yen.
but the price may be at least 30% higher outside Japan.

Thankyou runner for posting
Very androgynous collection, the simplicity of the colors and forms gives the details more attention. Overall very nice! I only wish it were more fitted.

Am I the only one who finds a lot of this quite grandmotherly even on the young model? I think some of it would look quite frumpy on a non-model or anyone not so young. But regardless, these are beautiful pieces.
