I like it a lot so far... and I actually think the tubing really works. The first black dress on post 21 reminds me of a dragon. I also think the makeup is beautiful!

love the hair but not too hot on the make up , the stencil net is cool but the eye make up is killing the effect of the stencil.. becomes a bit messy for me..

thanks for the detail shots agathe

yep. i think so. if you disregard his insane price points -- his clothing is very humanistic from a function standpoint and also from a philosophical standpoint. in the film notebooks on cities and clothes he was talking about designing for a woman asking 'how may i help you?' it isn't about trying to make this woman conform to gender, race, body type etc... it's about creating a garment a woman can individualize on her own, that's why he always used black so the garment would bleed into the background as much as possible. it was more about the feeling, and the movement of the garment, actually inhabiting it than the visual.

someone was asking how fashion can create a discourse without relying on words on garments. i think concentrating on the tactile, functional relationship, the personality of the wearer coming through instead of just the surface is a step in the right direction

I love the oversized details…all the flattened bows and ruffles that look like tabs & the multi-pockets very much a mix btw. military/utility + romantic silhouettes, no?-> ‘army dreamers’ ? And the tulle-camo make-up

how will the tubing be translated when the garments are sold in stores?

i'm thinking that in all probability the tubing garments will not make it into production .......

not everything onthe runways winds up in the stores...

yeah, i thought that after i posted. i think it would have been cool though to have a wearable version, like an extra long scarf to throw on as an accessory, you know to keep those lines... :p
