Y's Yohji Yamamoto Mens S/S 08
curious to see what you think. certain pieces I like, the red coat, the white henley and the black fedora...otherwise this doesnt really rock my boat, but to be honest I am not that familiar with his mens collections.

You're amazing. Thank you for posting this.

I love the hats, suspender trousers, and from what I can tell, the white shirting. But other than some of that, it's kind of hard to tell from some of the pictures. But none the less, the styling is great.

I am guessing these are the pants that will kill the skinny jean for men? Such a baggy trouser, why? Im not impressed.

Thanks luckyme. Very nice of you scanning all these in.

Typical Y's men I think...easy and relaxing. I like the treated linen(?) pants and coat in the first bunch.

trousers appear to be cut beautifully and look really comfortable, but I think the shirt/blazer combos are really doing it for me. Would like to see the pieces sans models in weird poses.

I loved this season's Y's for Men, but none of the clothes they actually showed here... There was an excellent, slouchy blazer in enzyme-washed ramie jersey that I ordered in dust gray and faded black that I thought looked fresh and more fluid than what I see here... also as always, great jerseys and knits for layering purposes... and a really lovely trainer! I want basically everything for myself =)

Why? It's a summer collection and you can't actually wear, move in or look comfortable in skinny jeans? The silloutte is elegant as ever and appropriate for summer...the collection is nothing new tho...

Skinny jeans are over. I've been on the relaxed, straight tip for a while and it's so much better! I definitely plan to add some baggy Yohji trousers this Spring.

I am sorry, but skinny jeans all year around for me. I just could not imagine wearing a different jean, nothing suits me like that skinny silhouette. But I do understand what you mean about the trouser pant being great for the summer.

That whole discussion, whatever silhouette of pants is over or not, is entirely pointless. You can say that a certain shape flatters you better than another, but it always remains a subjective, personal observation. I am glad there are different options and styles for everyone to choose from - I personally enjoy a mix and match that eventually defines an individual style for yourself, not for the sake of a seasonal trend.
