Yes she completely detests Pilati. Her negative bias towards him has just been awful. She criticize every single thing he does including the chain mail dresses in this collection then goes on to praise Stella McCartney's fruit prints and Givenchy this season. She is just like the other biased editors. Alex Fury is the only one I currently respect.

This collection is amazing. It's been 4 weeks and I have watched the video over and over again. Each time I watch it, I keep asking the question of why Pilati was let go. It doesn't make sense to me. Pilati is one of the most underrated and under appreciated designers today. He is a very brilliant and intellectual designer who makes you learn something from fashion (at least in my case) other than the clothes. The fact that his clothes were very elegant was not in his favour as fashion is turning into a popularity contest now and elegance is slowly dying out. Who can produce the most noticeable and coolest novelty pieces is becoming the norm. He still managed to keep YSL special. The fact that he was able to survive at the house for this long despite all the negative press and rumours of his demise is outstanding. He is a very strong individual and I admire his perseverance. As much as I like Hedi, I really hope YSL would regret this because I feel Stefano is one of the very few designers who produces elegant clothes and I don't think that would carry on under Heidi ( I really hope I am wrong). I hope he opens his own line now and shows us what he can do when he is not under any silly pressure.
