i loved the interview ,stefano is adorable ....it would nice to see him do versions of those suits for women....from the first half , they are so elegant. The second half is nice but its similar to stuff other designers like raf simons and dior homme.

Plus, those wide leg trousers are circas Tom Ford era, it was the best (or better) seller then, and still for sure will be easier for lots of region to sell now, as real men might not be able to squeeze themselves into the slim cutting ones. Let's hope the buyers have the vision to take care of us all (slim people). Fingers cross.

that's what i LOVED about the pants!

i'm a skinny-wearer at heart and will always be (well for now lol)

but those pants are killer, i can't lie!

the more i look at this collection the more props i give to Stefano! I'm adding this brand to my favorites list!

ultimately i am still not liking that wide leg which looks terribly italian...very pilati...


imo YSL is inextricably french with a dash of brit and that shows up later with the narrow pant leg silhouettes...shich are far more appealing and successful in my mind...

great collection though...
hoping that the women's collection is this strong..

I must say I can't believe it's Pilati because this is so much sexier and more streamlined than his other collections, especially his women's collection. This SS08 was a tad better than the past, yet he hasn't found a way to make sharp, effortless, dandy, cool tailored wear like these for the women's collection, the way YSL did Le Smoking. Come to think of it, there's sadly no equivalent designers I can think of for women, it's always society dresses, frou, boring tailored pieces (think Martin Grant) or deconstructed "intelligent" designs like the Belgiums or Japanese. Probably one of the worst collections, I have seen so fare(Ok, I'll admit Number (N)ine and Dior Homme is quite up there!) and to even call this "artsy" must be some kind of sick twisted irony. To key elements is missing to label this as art: Becoming and Reinvention, this has neither.
