I like the sound of "Werewolf."

I kind of like the darker hair; she looks less like a long lost Olson sister now.

My early favorite is "Daredevil".

So, so, so good and definitely worth the wait. I can already tell that it's an album that will be on repeat for me this summer.

I'm kind of embarrassed at how many times I played Hot Knife today. It's by far my favorite right now. I think the only weak link on this album is Jonathan.

Fiona Apple is spotted heading to her gig at the Citi Wang Theater on Saturday evening in Boston, MA to support her album titled 'The Idler Wheel'.

I completely randomly came across this old article today and thought I'd share since I like the pictures and the interview

I'm still obsessed with her new album, I've had it on repeat all Summer. I wish I could finally see her live!

Fiona Apple: "Dull Tool"

The soundtrack for Judd Apatow's upcoming film This is 40 includes tracks from Paul McCartney, Ryan Adams, Paul Simon, Wilco, and the Avett Brothers. Although the most anticipated song on the soundtrack is Fiona Apple's contribution "Dull Tool," as it's the first time she's created an original song for a film.

She doesn't disappoint with a chorus that states:

"You don't kiss when you kiss. You don't **** when you ****. You don't say what you mean. You don't talk loud enough."

Watch Fiona Apple's "Hot Knife" Video, Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson

Following the release of last year's The Idler Wheel, it only took Fiona Apple a few months to slip back into hibernation. But now, one particularly exciting item from the Idler Wheel cycle is here: the video for album closer "Hot Knife".

The clip is directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, Fiona's ex-boyfriend and the mind behind Boogie Nights, There Will Be Blood, The Master, etc. She told V magazine last year that they'd begun making the video together, but that Anderson was interrupted by other work before it was completed. It's finished now, and it fits in nicely with the catalogue of videos they've made together ("Paper Bag", "Fast As You Can", "Limp", more).

Fiona co-produced the video with Anderson; Brendan Walsh edited. It also features Fiona's sister, Maude Maggart, who sings on the track.
