i knew it! he doesn't say "your girl is ill" - why the hell would he say "your girl is ill"?? it's "your achilles heel", now it makes sense.
and it's not "nothing is ever just how you plan" either, but "nothing is ever just anything"...

I know what you mean, when I first discovered that I could find lyrics on the internet I was so happy, but then I figured out that not all of them are a 100% correct

I find it really hard to hear what Julian is singing sometimes, but I still love listening to the Strokes

i think it's much easier to understand him than it is to understand pete or carl talking, but i generally get the libertines' lyrics more easily... (not that i'm comparing the bands)

Even music reviewers sometimes don't understand what he says. Once one from a big magazine understood "one night of sex and that's all?", instead of "1 9 6 9 what's that sound?"

Whatever the outcome, fans need not worry about the Strokes disappearing permanently. “Whether it takes off or not, I’ll still do Strokes stuff,” Casablancas says. “I think (recording) is going to start in January, but I’m free for them whenever.”
