i don't know about her style, but her music annoys the hell out of me. there's this one song that always plays in my local coffeehouse. i think it's called "running up that hill."

i just bought i-D, the feminine issue, and there is a six-page hommage to kate bush in it...by björk and sandrine pelletier.

Kate Bush: the return of a muse
FASHION MUSE

Keep an eye and an ear open for the return of the wonderfully talented and fashionable Kate Bush, who's about to surprise us all, for she is still postponing the release of her new album. Kate Bush is as ever shrowded in mystery, since this eigth studio album was supposed to be released around this time already. We can't wait for her genius and inspiration, not only in the field of music, but also in the field of fashion. This woman's work touches us all in one way or the other, but for now, we'll just have to be patient.

Can;t wait to see/hear what she will come up with, her music is still so relevant and beautiful!

maybe it's better to keep the illusion and have her remain a recluse..so much more romantic.

She did but to many she has become an icon from the past. There are quite a few designers who have openly spoke about her influence. I love Tori Amos, but I think Kate Bush was more original and timeless. Her 'strange' dancing and gipsy clothes are still in my mind as a chilhood memory.

She's been getting so much press lately. She's really back in the consciousness of a new generation, I think. I can't wait for the new album.
