Really don't like - the only band more bland than Travis. Definitely not Scottish, they were formed in Hastings and are from Sussex like halifaxshayman says, which about rivals Surrey AKA Slurry on the bland stakes.

Hello
I'm new to this board which I thought was the perfect place to ask: a friend of mine is desperately looking for the brand of jeans worn by the singer Tom Chaplin in the Everybody's changing video... Could you help? It would make his day.
Unfortunately I couldn't find any good picture of the jeans but here is a link to the video.
Thanks!

they are from Battle not hastings I think...props to east sussex!! (sorry went to school there)

It was actually really funny because before they were well known a friend who is uber indie was really into them but couldn't figure out why their cd was imported no matter what country she was in, and she looked it up and couldn't believe they were from a place literally ten minutes down the road from us. Either way, I didn't really get into them until quite quite recently, mainly because I just love the idea of somewhere only we know and the singer is v. cute (he has such a baby face and yet is a grown man...it's odd)

I'm not Irish or anything, but... I always took to mean in the shape of a bed, supposing that a bed symbolized something on the 'inside' or something. But that's just my interpretation...

"You'll knock on my door, and up we'll go"... I always took bedshaped as just him 'in bed' with somebody

hmmm, you actually could have a good point there about death b/c he sings 'in white light, i dont think so'.
