i discovered la roux about a month ago...i saw the premiere of the "i'm not your toy" and my interest was piqued, not knowing exactly why, perhaps the combination of the girl's strange look and distinct singing style...well, hooray for intuition! i got the album and it's practically all i'm listening to right now! catchy songs, good lyrics, elly's great voice...pop at its best

i like la roux, but only after another DJ mixed her song. i found her original version of it seems to be a little bit bland =/

she reminds me so much of eleonora bose. not just because of the hair, but because they are both able to be androgynous AND feminine at the same time. i don't think anyone would call either of them "pretty" (such a bland description) , but they are both gorgeous- if that makes any sense to anyone.
