When I found out I had to hop into the shower and put the cold water on because I was shaking all over. Yes, I am a die hard Radiohead fan. I ordered the download and the discbox already. Only 8 more daaayyyss!!

I ordered it too this morning for 0.00.. I feel bad, they're the only band I like spending money on, it's silly cause they obviously don't need it.. I guess I just want to feel like I gave something back for everything they've meant to me (I'm a box of clichés tonight, how nice! ). plus I think the statement that they're making deserves some good response from the fans and a nice kick in the head to record labels.

I might be getting the box set anyway.. as my christmas treat.. is it limited edition? will it be available indefinitely?.

I just ordered it for $9 USD. Usually i'm all about illegal downloading, but i'm so impressed with this measure and Radiohead itself I don't mind supporting them. Plus, I got a new radiohead CD for less than $10! I have nothing to complain about!

Mullet, I just ordered it for 0.00 as well... but, like you, I plan on purchasing the box set as a Christmas treat - I hope it's not limited! - to support them... and plus, it looks brilliant .

^well, we haven't heard the produced stuff yet, but all the new stuff is soooo good live. I would imagine they are not releasing the album early to the press

normally I agree, however I am such a dedicated fan that I have purchased CDs, DVDs, EPs, singles, tshirts, posters, concert tickets, etc and I think its nice that they aren't making us pay if we don't want to. However, my parents did inform me they will get me the discbox as an early hanukkah present . So they will be getting another 80 bucks from my household, lol

that is the discbox which you can pre-order at inrainbows.com for 40 pounds or $80. That comes with two cds, two records, and a hardcover book of album art. They are being made to order. Zen was referring to just the cd being sold in stores, which they will probably need to find some sort of label to distribute on (then again, a lot of people didn't think they had the business plan to do what they are doing now so maybe they will release the cd on its own)
