First Aid Kit seem to be really talented. I like their new album a lot.

Reminds me of this vid of them at the Polar Music Prize awards doing a cover of Patti Smith's 'Dancing Barefoot' in front of the lady herself. Just see her reaction.

When it comes to Scandinavian singers, I like some Medina's songs (she's Danish - is it Scandinavian?)...And I like listening to Agnes (Carlsson), Swedish singer.
They both have some great songs.

Personally I'm not a big fan of Medina, at all. But she is very popular here.

I've been listening to a lot of danish hiphop/reggae-ish music lately, like:
Balstyrko - Karusellen
Raske Penge and Klumben - Rundt

There is a distinct lack of metal in this thread, which is a massive oversight for a thread dedicated to music from the lands from which metal has reached it's greatest heights. I'll start off with Dark Tranquillity, one of the first three melodic death metal bands and the ones that utterly perfected the genre.
