hey everyone!

so far, 9 people have emailed with their names/addresses about participating in the trade. i'd like to get more people involved, so if you want to participate you have until the end of july (next weekend) to submit your info. we'll try to have the matches out within a week to give you time to conceive your masterpiece and send it out.

Oh, me too! Spiffy project. I like the idea of themed tapes -- seasonal, geographical. Ok, I'll scratch I left my heart in San Francisco, but Rock out West? Can't wait. ^^

czilla, i actually really love the idea of themed mixes (i often give my mixes themes: colors, songs that start with the letter _, geographical is another...) and i was thinking that might be a good game to play a couple of trades in, just so we can sort out all the kinks. but thanks so much for the suggestion..i'm glad you're in!

mulletproof is also helping me with this project, and we will gave the trade buddies out (hopefully) by monday 1 august 2005. you will then have until 31 august 2005 to get your mixes out to your special person!

i will be sending a mass email to those of you who send me your information on saturday or sunday detaling the project and outlining specifics. czilla had a really great idea to post the playlists here when you receive your mixes...so we can share them with everyone. it won't be a requirement, obviously, but i thought that would be a nice way to see how everyone's trades are going.

so if you're interested please email us soon! we have exciting ideas for future trades, and i'm excited to get this off the ground!
