adorefaith, It's a forum. You get on different points of view.

And for the record, I certainly agree with the last half of your post.

We could all use a little perspective here.. whatever Angelina's motives, i can bet she is far more educated than most of us on the issues she dedicates herself to, and instead of picking apart her words and choices, i think we'd be better off paying attention to the non-Hollywood situations she involves herself in and debating about those issues... issues that affect millions of people worldwide and that we should be thinking more about. Who cares if she sometimes contradicts herself....don't we all? i know it's the angelina and brad gossip thread but really, there is a point of ridiculousness and i think it's been reached here..
I think the main point is that Angelina is doing a bit of a Kurt Cobain. Complaining about how annoying it is to be famous, while still raking it in and seeming to enjoy it. Now, Angelina adds a flavor of Miss World and does it for the children of the world.

It's probably sincere, but nonetheless it's a bit nauseating...one just hopes she doesn't do it for compensating bahavior in her personal life, as so often happens.

And at the end of the day, nobody would care about her if she wasn't so beautiful. Really. So, I think that's an interesting question in itself. We are not paying attention to those who are not famous and beautiful in the world....we can either give to charities or we can try to change the way we behave and pay attention to the good deeds of ugly people as well....

I usually agree with you but I think you have Angelina confused with Kirsten Stewart here.
Jolie is one of the few celebrities who don't indulge in the 'Oh, my life is so hard! I wish I was a waitress!' self-indulgent B.S.
Everytime she talks about being an actress it's to say how lucky she is, how much fun she has and how the money she earns allow her to invest in projects that matter to her.
The only thing she ever complain about is the tabloids, and even then she is more dismissive/sarcastic than bitter; and when you see the kind of drivel they put out, it's difficult to blame her.

Latest example, the US Weekly cover:

I was curious about that article because it's a serialisation of the Andrew Morton biography. I suspected the bio would be pretty much worthless but the extracts just confirm my hunch. You can read the article here.
I am not even going to linger on the headline (as if a man can be stolen ): they obviously know their female readership and want to sell the temptress/man-stealing-hussy angle. The hilarious thing is that they make such a poor case for it.

So what salacious techniques Angelina used to lure away a 'happily' married man?
Well, according to Andrew Morton, she presented herself to Brad as a sexy humanitarian mother. Never mind that she is, in fact, a sexy humanitarian mother. What Morton is in essence saying is that she was herself and Brad happened to fell for the person she is. And apparently that makes her the Wh*** of Babylon and Machiavelli rolled into one.
It's like that every single week.

You are right in that Kirsten Stewart fits the bill quite well - she also has the sickly grunge vibe down better than Angelina (these days).

Yep, tells you something of the power of her beauty - they just want to have her on the cover because she sells.

All these things that Angela stole Brad nonsense somehow makes Aniston seem like a horrible person. I dont know why but i like her less and less all the time.

I know she has nothing to do with these tabloids but still.

of course she does. they all do in some way or another, but shes making the victim role very very tired now.
theire marriage fell apart years before it ended - she just needed the finger to point elsewhere and angie just happened to be brads love interest, an actress much more beautiful than herself - atleast imo, befor i get attacks for this since everyone loves attacking each other in threads like these, and also, angie has been in the spot light forever.

perfect candidate for jennifer.

i loathe the woman - i didnt like her to begin with as i dont think shes pretty or a great actress but all her puppy dog face poses in the past 5 years really irritate me.
GROW UP! theer are mature ways to mourn an end toa marriage which she partially was at fault for.
and bringing someone else down is not the way to do it.

as ive mentioned way before, if anything, her finger shouldve been pointed to brad.
he LEFT her, angie didnt STEAL him. hes not an object that she STOLE

gosh she is one celeb i would love to SMACK with my heel - right on the face.
then her crying and stupid victimised behavior would be legit.

I think the masses who read tabloids take it all with a grain of salt personally. As someone who enjoys the odd US Weekly read here and there I don't know anyone who actually takes the reporting as straight fact. most people are wise to the sensationalism of tabloids but enjoy them as light reading anyway.

I actually think Jennifer was really quite mature and admirable throughout the whole process (and this coming from someone who has been fascinated with Angelina for yrs )... perhaps she had moments of indulgence but they were fleeting and quite frankly, who wouldn't.. she's only human. i don't think her sadness had a whole lot to do with angelina, actually.. that seemed to be the spin of the tabloids. her marriage had come to an end.. anyone would be devastated and vulnerable, no matter how it came to an end or to what extent they were responsible.

to be honest i think all three parties here seem to have been pretty mature and fair about this whole situation.. of course i can only say that from the outside, and i agree with Jennika the whole thing needs to be taken with a grain of salt because we must not forget these are celebrities we are talking about, and so much of what we see is calculated and very, very well thought out. but it seems to be crazy fans and magazines that spin everything out of control.. i wouldn't be surprised if brad, angelina and jennifer have all more or less come to terms with everything.. i don't think any of them have acted particularly ridiculously or immaturely, really. as someone said, this is life, these things happen - sure it was probably very painful for everyone involved and could have perhaps been executed differently, but this whole 'jennifer the self-pitying victim' seems pretty far fetched to me..

The only way Jennifer can keep herself relevant is through this triangle. That's it.
