Now, I know that mirror.co.uk isn't the most reliable of sites, however, in this day and age with how hate filled people are, I could actually see this happening. I know celebrities get hate mail and death threats as it is. And I know a lot of mixed race couples cop a lot of flack for it from all over the place. So I really, really hope this isn't true.

Apparently Halle is receiving death threats, both her and her unborn bubba, because the child is mixed race. Although the title of the article makes it sound like Halle is being racist.

Oscar-winner Halle Berry has hired security guards because of racist threats to her unborn baby

The star, three months pregnant, has received letters at her LA home from an anonymous sicko.

One said she and her child would be "cut into hundreds of pieces".
Halle, 41, who has a white father and an African-American mother, is expecting her first child with white Canadian model Gabriel Aubry.
A source close to the actress said: "Halle does not normally use security but she has taken on a couple of guys to make sure." Police are investigating the threats.

Why can't people just be happy for her and her partner.

I believe it, even though it's 2007 there are still some people out there who have very sick, backwards ideas about race. Hopefully, she won't let the stress get to her.

The article got the thing about her parents wrong, though. Her mom is white and her dad is black.

Halle Berry gave birth to a baby girl at 10:17 am on Sunday morning at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

The baby weighed 7lbs 4oz and Halle is resting comfortable.

According to an insider for Star, “Halle had come to the hospital at 4am in the morning because the felt like she was going into labor. It was a bit scary because her blood pressure was skyrocketing and everyone was a little tense. She’s a diabetic so that was complicating matters as well. The doctors checked the fetal heart rate and everything seemed okay. After a while Halle’s blood pressure came down. She wasn’t dilating anymore so at around 2:45pm they let her go home. Halle felt her contractions come on a lot more intensely later that night so she came back to the hospital at 11:00pm Saturday night.

The insider continued, “Halle was overcome with emotion when she finally held her little girl. She said everything she had gone through was worth that moment. The tears kept coming as Halle didn’t even want the nurses to take her baby to clean her up and measure. It was a truly beautiful scene.”
