That, and along with her questionable taste in movie roles, other than Never Been Kissed, which I loved (she had a minor role though), I think it will be hard for anyone to see her for anything else than a sex symbol.

Off topic but I remember seeing some sort of magazine article or something that discussed how curvy Jessica was and my reaction was "SERIOUSLY?? " Don't get me wrong, I embarassingly envy her body but she is NOT curvy. Thin with a decent chest yes, voluptuous, no. Curvy to me are people like America Ferrera, maybe even Scarlett Johansson.. not Jessica Alba.

I haven't liked her since she originally said she wasn't proud of her latina heritage (not in as many words, but I'd have to dig to find a direct quote). She pretty much states she isn't a Latina, then says she's "proud of her heritage"? I don't find her attractive and I think she's got a snotty attitude.

She has nothing going for her except her body and puppy eyes. She is a perfectly worthless actress, all wooden, not unlike a super hot Al Gore. I guess there must be a lot of self-induced stress on her due to her pregnancy - but not to worry, she'll force herself right back into shape within a week and destroy many movies for years to come. Next, she'll probably be wanting to do serious movies, but the good news is she seems dumb enough to be "surprised" by the porn-like outcome of her movies.

She is not Latina no one is. latina is a term created by the Nixon admistration only used in the used to classify a large group of people so is hispanic. Now people actually think those two classifications are races.
She is American she was born here and she would be be multiracial when comes to her race.

if you were born in Central America or South America you are most likely multiracial, a mix of Indian, white and black which are races.
Latina is my vision is a derogatory and labeling term to describe people from Mexico, Central America and South America because people think we all have the same culture and language and look the same.
I am from Brazil and I never checked Latina/Hispanic. I am portuguese, Italian, African and native amazonian indian and I see myself as a multiracial. I have never heard those words before moving to the States.

I disagree with people who said she doesn't like her Hispanic heritage. I just think she doesn't identify with it since she wasn't raised around Hispanics and her father didn't teach her about her heritage. If anything, to me she sounds bitter about her childhood. Negative stuff probably happened to her to make her say things like that.

But I still think she's a horrible actress that relies on her looks. She's got to be smokin' crack to think she's anything but mediocre.

Alba names herself alongside Halle Berry and Jennifer Lopez as the only non-white actresses who can open a movie.
