I admit that I didn't say kind things about him when I initially posted about this but to be honest, I'm neutral towards him at the end of the day. I'm sure that there is more to him than the fame-hungry rumors that seem to follow him around.

I don't want her to date him because it will cheapen her image. They will be in tabloids and she will get known by the non-fashion world as DJ AM's gf. I feel kind of possessive of models. I don't want her to be in the Lilo, Nicole, paris category. I want her to fly under the radar as a supermodel. I hope this relationship is good for her and paparazzi don't invade her life and cheapen her.

I guess it makes sense. He is a DJ and club promoters will pay more if they think his famous girlfriend is bound to show up.

While Stam is well-known in the fashion industry, I wouldn't exactly call her famous. I would think that in your average household people would be more likely to recognize DJ AM's name.

^Agreed. Stam's name definitely doesn't carry as much weight as Mandy Moore or Nicole Richie.
