Karen Mulder Missing??

I didn't really know where to post this. Hope it's OK here, if not please move it.

I don't know how reliable this is but I just read this message on a Dutch message board where people are looking for friends and family who are missing in Asia after the tsunami.

I am looking for the daughter of my friend Marijke. Her name is Karen Mulder and she's a model. Her parents are afraid she was in Thailand during Christmas. Karen, if you read this message, please let me know you're still alive.

Karen's mother is also called Marijke. It could be a coincidence but two Karen Mulders, both models, and both with mothers called Marijke?

I hope Karen is OK, wherever she is.

Im asking if this karen story is at all true.
if you know her career she made many allegations that were totally false.

and if you really want to get into it veronika varekova has milked this tragedy for a huge amount of press. and jamison ernest even used the NY Post for his own publicity piggy-backing on veronika.
exploitation of tragedy happens everyday - think of how many tens of millions were made off 9/11 by bootleggers selling fake 'souveneirs' -

until the karen story is confirmed in the media Im taking a wait & see approach.
have you already determined she was 100% in the tsunami? Im waitiomng for proof as opposed to speculation.

Me too.

Really! I would have expected more sympathy from people at a time like this. Silly antics or not...her mother is obviously worried about her and it's hardly a reason to bring up nonsense gossip about her.

When was Karen last seen... do you have all her friends contact details?
It not get the police to break into her hotmail... use all the addresses to ask...
detectives can be great... if you can find a cheap detective to look... usually the detectives working for there own companies are cheaper than comercial agencies...

If that doesnt work... get her friends phonebooks... they are likely to have people she knew in there.... if this is serious do everything possible... check credit card access locations and dates...

and pray... im sure everyone here is praying

Seriously if you want to find her... the best chances are pulling all resources... you should get in contact with a detective if all else fails... remember no matter what where there is a will there is a way...

But I heard on tv that there is this OFFICIAL webpage where pics are posted of found people who have not yet been identified. This only goes out for people that were in Thailand...the website is www.csiphuket.com and people please don't go there for the sensation of looking at dead bodies, that is not what this website is for
