Less than a month after Marc Jacobsí entire Spring/Summer collection was stolen from a Paris train bound for London, another high fashion robbery has taken place in France. This time, the culprits struck at a French airport and it was Louis Vuitton that fell victim to the heist. The luxury thieves held a security guard and four employees hostage at Parisí Charles de Gaulle airportís freight terminal while they loaded approximately AUD $400 000 worth of Louis Vuitton bags into trucks.
This recent trend for high fashion thievery isnít exactly in the festive spirit. And itís not like the culprits can just stroll down the street with the LV totes on their arm or the Marc Jacobs on their back. The saddest part is that the masked thieves probably canít even appreciate the beauty of a well-tailored jacket or the art behind crafting the perfect handbag. To all those thieves out there, show a little respect and stop being such a Grinch!
