Michelle Branch announces that she is four months pregnant with first baby

Michelle announced her pregnancy on her website this afternoon, telling her fans:

Teddy and I are expecting our first child in five months!!! Can you believe it!?...We are so excited and thrilled about starting this new chapter in our lives. So if I seem a little tired sometimes, and go straight to the bus after a show, you all can't get on my case too much!!

Michelle, 21, married Teddy Landau, 40, a member of her band, last spring in a surprise ceremony in Mexico.

I've sorta known for awhile she was pregnant. I don't know how but she just looked like she was. Of course I can't go around saying she looks pregnant! That would start a rumor... and amongst the Michelle Branch fans, they'd probably butcher me for saying such thing.

I've started to admire mothers, because there isn't just one kind of them, theres a huge variety, There are working mothers, single mothers, stay-at-home-moms, etc. and all of them manage to give birth and raise children.

Ugh, I knew her coming up. She used to be a big Hanson fan and I talked to her through AIM and the Hanson MB (Haha, I was a HUGE Hanson fan). She was just always kinda...snotty. There was a big divide in the Hanson fandom...the ones who loved her and the ones who...didn't. Jessica Harp, however, will always have my vote. I used to talk to her on AIM. Sweet girl.

wow, i'm so happy for her but at the age of 21 and so fresh in the music biz i dunno how music executives will think, she might not be around much longer as an artist. i mean nelly furtato did the same thing, married a band member, got pregnant before second album and not isn't really around anymore. anyways, michelle seems very content so why should i care.
