She doesn't look sickly in the face ( though I am sure she's wearing tons of makeup) but isn't sort of said your knees shouldn't be the thickest part of you legs?... your thighs should.

She's still got a fat baby face, but her legs and arms are just too thin. I wouldn't even think it would be that bad if she was, say, Hana or Tiiu- very, very tall. In that case, there would be a good chance that she just grew up really fast and sort of stretched out, couldn't help it. She's only listed at 5'9, which means she's 5'8. And when you're that "short" its hard too look that thin.

I could be very wrong but I think Chanel is just another (super!) gangly teenager.. give her a couple of more years and she should fill out a bit.

I think the girls that are the most alarming are the ones who looked a certain way one season.. then lost a tremendous amount of weight the next season.. thats when you know its not just genetics/age.

Oddly enough their weight loss usually coincides with tons of bookings

Kim Noorda did get more popular after the weight loss. I remember when Stam lost weight and dyed her hair blond...her career pretty much exploded then (even though in my opinion, she was already a top model with the red hair)

Sadly I think if Stam didn't lose her weight she would be where Marija Vujovic is now.. lost in the continous wave of new 15 year girls.

i think with chanel as well....there is a popular idea that women of african or caribbean origin have big bums, wide hips, etc. whereas i remember being shocked sometimes wandering around london seeing these 14/15/16 year old girls who were dead skinny. like incredibly narrow through the hips and their legs. It's just the way some of them are built.

I have to agree with that. But I like that about her (though I think she can afford to gain a bit of weight), she changes her look to keep up with the industry.
