I was looking at old Kim Noorda pictures and she looked so happy, like glowing. Now she's soo skinny and her expression changed, she always looks angry.

I know its sad. She has lost quite a bit of weight and she always looks sad. She is shy so maybe she just looks like she is sad though

I love how every time a model gains like 10 pounds everyone's like "oh, she's healthy looking now". It's so ridiculous to me how many models are now so far away from healthy. It's not even like "she looks like a normal person" or "she has curves now!" it's like "she is healthy now!" as opposed to "she is not menstruating anymore and is 15 pounds away from death."

I'm sorry, I just have to say this

I'm really pissed by the whole runway anorexia thing in media. I don't believe that they really care about those young girls who read their nonsense (and I'm not saying that every article is full of nonsense, but most of them are), it's just a perfect way to sell magazines and to fill up the gap when there's nothing to write/talk about.
When I was younger, and a girl wanted to loose some weight, first thought was always "go to gym", next "eat less sweeets", and then eventually "eat less food". And now, I don't see young girls in the gym, the first thing that is going on in their minds is to starve, because it's simple and gives great effects, and how would they now that? from this reeaaly scary articles. Yeah, really scary, with extra hot Jessica Stam, or less hot, but still hot Hana, Snejana or whatever on the front page.
And what is more funny, they put pictures of the models that died from anorexia, but they don't put photos from their last days (probably because noone took such photos), they put photos of them when they were hot too.
So the message is clear, yes anorexia is a bad disease, but maybe it's just like with smoking, everybody says that it causes damages in your body, but hey, my friends smoke, my parents smoke, and they all look great and they are pretty healthy by now, so maybe this whole starving thing is just not so scary as it seems.

One more thing, today I found an article about Kelly Brook. Everybody who saw Kelly, knows that she is curvy and sexy, and if anybody would call her thin, I would think that he's crazy.
Anyway, the begining of the article starts like this "173 cm tall, and with measurements like 84-62-87 she is an example of the ideal woman"
I'm sorry, what? these are the measurements of those scary models, that they were talking about some time ago. She is definitely not this size, she's at least 5-10 cm more in every part. Isn't it weird, that they have to write something like this, to hmm sell her? I don't get it

I hope I don't sound that angry as I am, and my english is not that bad as I think it is

Yeah, I agree. I think to the most part, all those anorexia articles do nothing but help promote it further. Single most effective anti eating disorder thing I've ever seen was this video on youtube (it was very popular) of this girl in her 20s who said to be suffering from anorexia for 10 years.
She talked about the consequences of her desease, and it wasn't like "I had a heart attack" because a heart attack doesn't sound awful enough to a lot of people. She talked about some really terrible, disgusting and unglamorous things, like ALL her teeth had to be pulled out (so she was 24 or something and HAD NO TEETH), she had bald patches on her haid and bad nails, her breath smelled, her skin aged terribly, she was either constipated all the time or she couldn't control her bowel and she would just poo with green smelly water unexpectedly. And when she's in her 40s she most likely won't be able to walk. And she cried when was saying these things.
I mean, how is talk about anorexia effective if when the examples are always the same glamorous, albeit thin and tired-looking models. Yes, Snejana is v. skinny and probably suffers from some kind of malfunction but i don't thing the message would get across till she accidently poos with smelly green water while doing a Valentino show.

Now that would be something, but I agree with your point. People only take measures when drastic things happen. Sadly the two models who died and caused the stur were not as famous. Its going to take something big and notable for the message to really hit.

^^^I agree. People make anorexia seem glamorous. Anorexia is the new cutting. There are people who suffer from depression and so on and have problems and develop anorexia and then there are just girls who don't know what to do with their lives so they develop eating disorders same with girls who take drugs out of boredom. Just to show you guys:
VS models back in the 90's (how they should look):
