Wth at this? 26" is by no means big. In shirt size it's like XS. Also Gemma is by no means fat, she is still slender.

I agree. And in defense of superfashion, Vlada does look normal compared to some of the girls. She just looks thin to me now. I mean obviously she is very VERY thin but looking at pictures of models all days long has kind of distorted my perception of thin. Also, remember the camera adds ten pounds.

So just indulge me for a second and imagine this "normal" Vlada minus ten pounds. Worse, imagine Olga minus ten pounds. There may be a difference between someone who's at Vlada's weight and someone who's at Olga's, but they still have one very horrifying truth in common: neither are normal, and neither are healthy-looking.

I agree and disagree. Both models lost a lot of weight during fashion weeks.

Olga started hyperskinny and ended looking like a skeleton.

Vlada started looking normal in New York:



She filled the dresses very well and even had a little tummy. Specially her neck looked normal to me.

But i admit, at the end of fashion weeks in Paris she looked shockingly thin even for me in some pictures.

^^ someone on the previous page mentioned that a size 26 waist is getting pretty big..... i hope that you just dont understand the sizing, because that is small.. to put it in perspective, my little sister, who is 5'0, weighs about 93lbs and wears a size 24-25... she is the epitomy of the typical ninth grader who still has the body of a little boy.. NO breasts, NO hips, NO body fat... AND she's an athlete, so she's all muscle...

the idea a young woman (not child... therefore she is supposed to be hitting or have hit puberty) around the ages of 17-21 could be eight to ten inches taller than her, yet weigh only 20-30 pounds more is frightening.. i understand that girls can be super tall and naturally very thin... but there is no such thing as natural emaciation... when any girl hits the point that she looks like she belongs in a refugee camp, i'm sorry to say it, but you're stupid and naive to attempt to defend that she's supposed to look that way. (**by the way, i am by no means insinuating that the person who mentioned size 26 is any of these things, i'm merely generalizing in relation to the typical sympathizers**)..

It's a sad world we live in, or at least in the case of many of us, orbit, when a girl like Lara Stone is considered fat. Breasts aren't a bad thing, designers! Half of your gowns' décolletage would be on better display if they actually had a little bit of something filling them out.
