Also consider that you can't make it in the industry if you're a diva... If you're not willing to do what it takes, there are a million models waiting to replace you. And mind you, there will be someone just as good and willing to balance on her pinkie toe and do jumping jacks for five hours. Designers have low tolerance for diva behavior.

I've heard many things about Snejana being a diva. It's not just from her thread. Go to the "Which Models Have You Met In Person" thread. She just doesn't have a good reputation, but I don't see what that has to do with her weight.

EXACTLY!

just think of what these models go through....read this

The models are sick as dogs. Three weeks into it with shoots in between and I can't believe they are still going from when i saw them in NYC weeks ago. AND they've still got Paris. Coco did four shows in London, flew to paris to do an overnight shoot with Karl only to fly back to London the next day for more shows. Freja has a fever and looks like she can't take another step. Vlada can't even keep her head up. And one of my faves (who shall remain nameless) had a full-on breakdown in hair and makeup at Pringle last night.

umm- i NEVER look like that unless i am deathly ill and tired, etc. but maybe i am blessed to not deal with the green skin issue. although, frankly, i have many white friends who never look like that as well. the problem isn't her lack of a tan---its the undertones to me. i could count off so many clebrities with pale skin who don't seem to have that appearance. infact, the boy standing next to her does not look like that. but maybe in other parts of the world that is normal.

and the diva attitude thing is well-known, but when people are hungry, they tend to be cranky. that is all i was saying.

i am biased(obviously). i really think she is the worst looking models out there. so--- i may be noticing less obvious 'flaws' unfairly.

Johanna Jonsson? Or Stickland?

I have really noticable undereye circles too. I've had them since I was a child and they do not go away, even if I happen to be well rested. Although I do agree that Snejana is unhealthy looking, I don't really think dark circles should have anything to do with it. Some people are just unlucky (like me :P)

^ I don't think she was refering to the undereye circles, but rather the skin discoloration, which is a symptom of malnourishment/anorexia. The skin can turn purplish due to poor blood circulation and tends to be yellow-ish. I notice the discoloration as well, but it may be due to left over makeup. I know my eyes look horrible after I wash off any sort of eyeshadow/liner. It's hard to judge from one candid.

you can see hints of it from under the chanel f/w 06 backstage pics. --ther is make-up to cover it, but it barely does so. compared to the other girls with the sme make-up, she still looks like a corpse.

ooh karma for that... I get dark circles, red eyes and yellow skin by just waking up at 6am..

their schedules are really insane I must add.. if they want healthy-looking models, they should have more space between shows, it only seems to get tighter every season, it doesnt help that Cibeles is also on the rise so now models (like Kinga for instance) are in New York, then London, Cibeles and Milan all in less than one week.. running from show to show without counting the hours they have already spent in the fittings.. it's craaaazy.. I'm just surprised that they manage to look pretty at some shows, cause no matter how much amount of makeup there can be, I'd probably look like I walked straight out of a funeral.

This thread is becoming characterized by personal attacks against some of the models - and it's unfair to judge based on candids and rumours. I would hope that we could all be respectful of each other's opinions more.
