I never thought of Lily Cole being an unhealthy girl, i think she is one of the best girls these days. so i don't even believe that this girl has looked at other girls like Vlada and Snejana. And as long they (and other models who are lesser known, but even more skinny too) are strutting the catwalks i will not believe an article like this.

she did not comment on lily cole's weight. in fact, she just quoted it from the UK newspaper. by reading her story you can tell she's on lily's side.

im sick and tired of these people in the industry trying to convince us that there is no problem and its all us trying to make the skinny girls gain weight. anyone with eyes knows that there is a problem.

and i have serious trouble believing that she is a UK size 8-10, and that most top british models are the same

A US size 4 is a UK size 8, and different countries have different sizing, which is why there are various sizes listed on their cards. European sizes are in the 30s, not single and low double digits like the US and UK.

I still don't understand the whole size zero terminology.

A US size zero is a UK/Aussie size 4. Is that what you mean?

^ Perhaps this Net-a-Porter size chart makes it more clear:
http://www.net-a-porter.com/am/Conte...gForward=popup

So, it's really the smallest size made. I've sort of heard (double zero) 00 referenced, but I've never come across that size in real life...maybe it's more of a metaphor.

Does anybody know the height/weight of Carmen Kass (in cm/kg)? In my opinion it is the way a girl should look, best body on the runway. I would also like to know what is the average weight of a 175cm tall model. Thanks!!

As do I, and I live in the boondocks of Tennessee. I think it's usually teen or 'juniors' departments that carry the size 00, but high fashion designer labels only go as low as 0 (as far as I have seen).

^ Doesn't Abercrombie carry 00's? If I remember correctly, when my best friend was a freshman and sophomore in highschool she fluctuated between a 00 and a 0 and I'm pretty sure Abercrombie and Fitch was one of the only stores she could find that had pants that fit her. I also think American Eagle Outfitters carries 00's. So I know there are at least a few chain stores that carry this size.
