I agree. I saw Maria Sharapova at the US Open this year and I was surprised at how thin she was. She looked as thin as a lot of these models do in pictures. Whereas on t.v. and when I looked at photos from the event, she looked normal weight and average, not slim in the slightest.

It's really scary to think how thin a lot of these models must be if the camera adds 10 pounds.

This is a good example. This girl says she weighs 127 pounds which is pretty slim for someone of 5'11" yet she looks considerably bigger than that in some of these pics. Yet when you look at her arms in the last photo, they're quite thin.

I agree with you guys. My aunt was complaining/joking that there are so many diets in magazines on how to lose weight but none on how to gain weight. Society tends to discriminate against thin women and worship then at the same time. It's really weird how it works. Nobody discriminates against Beyonce for her body.

So true, Paris looks sooo skinny IRL - I don't mean emaciated or anything, but just tiny. And I mean after she was crazy thin in TSL1

Yeah but if someone criticizes Beyonce's body, a whole army of women lash back but if someone criticizes Vlada's body it's seemingly justified.

The sad fact is women are NEVER good enough. Everyone is either obese or emaciated and people in the media choose to "take sides" and exploit the drama of the situation rather than portray a balanced, healthy story. If a woman has cellulite, she's fat but if she doesn't have any, she's a freak of nature. I think it speaks to the misogyny that completely saturates out culture. It's a sad, sad time to be a woman IMO, in more ways then one.
