I don't think Olga's arms were terribly retouched. When you hold your arms like she is backstage, they tend to slim cos you're constricting and pushing back fat. With her arms like wings, they'll look thin because of the angle, but if you look, she has the exact same definition on both. The little bubble on her right arm is present in both.

Aw, thanks. It's just hard because I want to say names and exact things I know, but it isn't my place to out girls who do suffer from an ED (although I see someone said a girl I told them about does have one - which makes me kind of ) because it is a personal problem and it's wrecking them.

I had a rather lengthy chat with one girl where I asked her about it and she yielded almost all the answers I used in here. It's disturbing and sad how girls are treated in here and in the industry.

But I can, from said girl, confirm Olga is naturally very thin. She eats like a horse, has people over for cocktail parties with - gasp - food, but she's careful about what she eats. I don't really like Olga so this isn't a case of a SUPERFAN refusing to accept a problem. I'd just prefer if people didn't use her as a poster child for ED when she is truly one of the girls who is very lucky (if you will) with her build. Not that any girl, especially one suffering with an ed, should become the poster child in the industry. These are typically the same girls who struggle with their perception of their appearance as a whole. But Olga isn't binging and purging or suffering from anorexia.

Olga is a disaster (a thinspiration dream). I've seen Inguna in real life and she didn't seem much bigger than Olga now, although I stand by my statement that Snejana (at her skinniest) was overall the skinniest model ever, even when I look through her thread today (especially the middle pages) her body is more terrifying than Magdalena, Siri and Olga or any other model.

These girls start off skinny and then they lose more weight! They won't die because they've obviously found a comfortable medium to survive, but they must have cut decades off their lives. I don't know why but I find Natasha to be far more frightening than Olga and Vlada, I love the girl, she is so sweet and obviously the industry loves her, but I secretly think if she doesn't have an ED (which to me constitutes an emotional trauma) then she is atleast dangerously ill, she looks like a skeleton in the new Gucci ads. I showed pictures of her to my grandma (obviously holding an old school ideal of beauty) and she asked me if she was dying.

^Vlada is a paradox to me, how can her body be so thin yet her face be so full? I'm actually asking that's not a rhetorical question, I can only assume that like Knightley says she is like Olga (a natural phenomenon).

well I'm only going by what Knightley said, these models either hide it really well (judging by interviews where they're always jubilant) or they're fine.

Nah, it is. I know one girl has hyperthyroid and refuses to fix it. It's why she can eat a lot and not gain weight, but that'll kill you. I have too much goss, and I shouldn't bring it to the thread, but!

As for Inguna, if I remember you posted in her thread about it carmen, it was during a period in her life where she was really stressed and had some stuff going on that I wouldn't call depression, but unlike some people who overeat when worried, some people lose weight. It was never pressure from the industry, though, and she was never scary thin at all, nor was it from an ED. Inguna's example always bothers me because she lost the weight in her face SS07 but if you were to compare her body in SS06 to SS07, she didn't look terribly different in the torso (she's always had a narrow waist with a prominent ribcage, evident even when she was sixteen and like... taking pictures in denim cutoffs, oh Russia), but then I know her story, so.

Olga may be a thinspiration dream, but she's not starving herself, she's a pretty healthy girl, even if her body would show different. I think the assumptions of who does or doesn't have one is kind of... I know that it is so ROUGH on the girls to come to their threads, lurk it, think about posting, and see how much people are going on about their bodies. For the one's with ED's? It almost worsens it. When you start obsessing over a sufferer's body, they also do in turn. Let's just say one girl won't read or post here because of the speculation being so hurtful.

I often get mean, though, and want to post blind items relating to this, though. But then I remind myself the girls are human, even if some of them are not very nice despite what you'd think from interviews.

On the topic of Hyperthyroid, doesn't Kelly Osbourne have that problem and she refuses to fix it because it would make her gain back the weight she lost as a consequence of contracting the disease.

I don't know with Kelly, but I had it. I don't know if this will be edited out because it's personal weight talk, but it is a serious disease that left untreated can and will become fatal. Literally, the worse it gets.. it's like your body consumes itself, it's awful. The thing is, blind item, she's a huge girl.
