I find it interesting that the straight men on tfs frequent threads of models like Valentina and Doutzen, who do have, dare I say curves, women on the other hand find these two models bland and boring

Most women find models like Valentina and Doutzen extremely beautiful.

It is only inside the fashion world that anyone could disparage their appearance.

A lot of models who didn't make it to the big time confess to having had eating disorders, they're what I call filler models, girls who fill the runways at smaller fashion weeks but never make it to print. They usually have a story to tell, about how their agency forced them onto an "apple only" diet, or something else extreme, and the newspaper/magazine readers think they're top models like Eugenia who have gone to hell and back. Which makes me think that if EDs are that common then many of the girls at the top must have them and you have to have a real strong will and determination to be that sick and weak and still make every show at every fashion week. It's like fight club, none of the real members talk about it, apart from Natalia, but she owns the fashion world now. Natalia did confess that her dieting had made her irritable and unhealthy because food became "secondary" to her.

i think they are pretty big and they don't need to get attention like that.
i wouldn't judge models because of that

I think health should be the most important thing for everyone, it is the same with models.To go and suffer? what a sense in that if you don't get a joy? money for runway isn't big anyway

^no not them Nemezide, I meant girls that come on tv and talk about it on shows like "extreme skinny celebrities" or "supersize vs. superskinny", and they speak candidly about how they had to be really small to get into the dresses, but I think to myself I don't ever remember seeing her.

got it, yes i agree then. it annoys me too when model i see first in my life is called supermodel and talks about smth serious issues like the same eating disorder

^Yeah and then people having seen that program think they know all the top models and how sick they are and tell their friends at work how they'd never get so low as to be an annorexic model, because they're somehow above that, and they'll open a magazine like Elle and point to a picture of Agyness and say how sick she must be not knowing there are girls like Karlie and Olga who are even tinier. However it is sad that these girls went through all this pain and didn't make it to the top.
