Funny you should say that

i think her body is the same, but she was wearing a hideously unflattering muu-muu. in the second pic you can see how small her waist is. her chest and hips are only fullin proportion to her waist.
if anything it shows that stylists, designers like making women look like boys

A cigarette in an Ad campaign is so tacky, what was Prada thinking? I'm glad Christy is anti-smoking now.

Oh, I wasn't saying that SHE changed, just that the fashion ideal has. Christy Turlington isn't, and never was, a tiny, tiny twig but she still managed to get a Prada campaign. Same with most other models from the 70s to the late 90s.

Hence, high fashion =/= emaciated.

Does anyone have any direct quotes from models admitting it though?

Yeah, a LOT explain what they went through after they retire, even more so if they leave the industry behind....

It's a misunderstanding. She said she had panic attacks, but got help for it. It was mentioned a few pages back (search for Jeisa).

I must admit, I did think that eating as much as you want and then throwing it up seemed like a good solution. I quickly discovered how hard it is on your body. You can’t do that long-term.
