Ten years ago, Tyra Banks made history by becoming the first black woman to grace the cover of a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Now, 20-30 something pounds heavier, Tyra's returned to the Bahamas to recreate the photo, which will be revealed on the February 19 episode of her new talk show.

"I want to empower women to not stress about what they see on the scale," she says. "I've never been ashamed of my weight. I am 161 pounds, and I say it loud and proud." And we say, "You go, girl!"

It really doesn't seem like that picture was from 10 years ago, she looked great.
I think she really does have a complex about the weight gain or she wouldn't keep pulling these little stunts to make it seem okay (in her own eyes).

the woman is shameless. she isnt even fat yet she is milking it for all it's worth to come off as more approachable. the bottom line is, tyra doesnt have that "it" factor to have a long-running show like oprah. she will always have to pull stunts like this.

I never really understand why she was crowned "Curvy". I see no hips. For me hipbones define curves. Not booty, or a big breasts.
