Do you seriously consider Mischa meant well by that comment? Its obvious she considers anything more filled out than her 'tall and lanky' frame to be overtly sexual. Well, that's an argument that's pretty good - but I still maintain that if your clients or your bookers thought it was important that you were given decent and portable food, you would have it along with your hotel room and plane tickets.

I can see how the stress of the situation can cause a decreased appetite, though, especially given the nature of the business. It's very understandable.

Well sure for some they eat too little. But for others if a model's genetic code is making them naturally thin it would have to do with their metabolism.
Eventually everyone's metabolism will slow down, for most girls it's puberty (which is often delayed if they have such a metabolism) and sometimes it hits in the 20's. For those girls with "blessed" genetics, they're fine while they're that way and can pretty much eat everything they want, more than the average person even. Once it slows down of course it means they will have to consciously do something to maintain their bodies being that way. Though it's hard to tell who's riding on their blessed genetics and who's forcing it. "younger is better" for more reasons than one in the fashion world.

Yes. She said Rachel was petite - how can that be interpreted as if she was fat or anything in that direction?

It's more like - she agrees to Rachel's hotness and then adds that she's not jealous, although to me it sounds like she is a little jealous.

She said Rachel was petite yes, but alluded to a certain voluptousness that is simply not there even in the first season of the OC. The main point was that being more than a lanky frame makes you overly sexual. She did not sound jealous at all but honestly repulsed by being curvy, as if being bigger automatically made you some sort of bimbo.

I would also appreciate not accusing people of being mindless sponges. Just because I have a different opinion gives you no right to attack me like a kindergardener.

Well, it's a double whammy—being too busy to eat + fast metabolism is pretty much a recipe for disaster.

Also, there are medical aids that are ever so terrifyingly efficient with making you want to eat hardly anything at all.
