the woman is shameless. she isnt even fat yet she is milking it for all it's worth to come off as more approachable. the bottom line is, tyra doesnt have that "it" factor to have a long-running show like oprah. she will always have to pull stunts like this.
oprah had weight issues too, and IMO tyra is handling this much better than oprah is. my best friend is obsessed with tyra (the show) so i've seen it quite a few times, and a lot of times i just want to laugh. HOWEVER, oprah is a joke. tyra beats oprah IMO anyday.

You're right, this is the understood definition of curves. The very phrase "hip bones" in relation to having curves is a contradiction, but I suppose she meant hips instead.

Tyra is an irrational manaic, I don't understand how anyone can watch that show without sneering. That weight episode was undertaken with such hostility and self promotion, I couldn't even take it seriously.

^i totally agree - i find tyra to be pretty irritating. she comes off as incredibly narcissistic. the most ridiculous episode i saw was when she wore a fat suit in order to look like she weighed 300+ pounds, then went to her favorite stores and filmed the reactions she recieved as an obese person. this in itself isn't that ridiculous - but then she had a few actually obese women on the show, cried on their shoulders and talked about how awful it had been to be treated as an obese person... and she sat there crying as they comforted her! she just runs every issue through her own shallow perspective. i'd rather hear from those who are actually dealing with the issues, day to day.

What a sad, yet frequent transformation.

Well, to see a positive change, models that went from thinner to larger without any change in their success

Querelle had her best season without being at her thinnest...

^ well Querelle is not doing well at all at the moment...but I don't know if that's because of her weight.
