SHE'S ONLY 14 .....Oops!
Its totally normal for her then...when I said I couldn't are to look at her, I meant facially...
I see 14/15 year olds all of the time (of course) and they are really thin, and i'm sure the majority don't have eating disorders. But, I still question why her agency would work with her and when she's that small. When she starts to get more jos she's just gonna start losing more weight. Eventually, if she stays around long enough, she will gain alot more back (like Gemma, Karolina, Vlada, Etc).

^ I think that's the point. That's why agencies pick these girls up at such an early age, because they want to grab that super thin and youthful girl before any other agency finds her and before she matures and perhaps begins to gain weight. I mean, come on. Let's be realistic here. Some of these girls are naturally thin and healthy, that's fine, but a lot of girls gain weight and grow into their bodies after puberty and such, or at least after turning seventeen, sixteen. And if they weren't pressured by their agencies to keep thin? Some if not most would probably gain weight. So, it's easier to sign a girl at an early age, when she is thin and youthful, because that's what the industry is after, rather than waiting until she's grown.

I have no doubt in my mind if River gains weight by the time she's sixteen, her agency will drop her. Especially if it's still Supreme. She's a no name so I doubt they really care where she goes. She's young, not exactly gorgeous. All of these young models popping up randomly, seems like their exploiting youth more than ever.

And also, the ONLY reason these girls who've gained weight and have a name in the industry and are still walking and doing what they're doing is because they're working with a really, really good agent. You'd think some of them would be dropped by now.

^^ Yes. I can't lie and say I wasn't nervous for my Coco. She looks fantastic but with the standards these days...if I knew her agent I'd totally give him a gift basket or something . It's why I got less fussy about Behati being picked up VS Pink (and she's with Supreme) if high fashion casting agents are telling her she's fat like a pig . She seems so high-spirited...I'd hate to see her lose that.

Alice B has notably gained weight since the AusNTM show and it was actually an issue during the season. So that was good to see .

Yeah and it's obviously not working because we notice their intentions instead of plainly thinking "they're so edgy and grungy" .. but then again maybe it actually is working because I guess their models get booked and thus all is well for the agency.

I just searched up River, and what bothers me is that she doesn't look 14 at all (face). She looks closer to 24 IMO; why hire 14 year old girls that look 24 to wear women's clothing rather than 24 year olds?

Natalia Vodianova, albeit more super than Kim, continued to work after she came out as eating disordered. And work she does.

Not necessarily. As an aspect of physiology, amenorrhea is very personal. I know many anorectics with BMIs lower than the subjects of this thread who still menstruate.

The human body rarely makes total sense.

Not a severe amout...She's just bigger than she was when she first started. Its not bad, she looks alot better now.

I'm so sorry about the Alice thing. I realized after the fact, that she had put on some weight.

IMO Supreme has a very "Seattle" look and they usually want all of their models to look that way, dont get me wrong their are a couple of girls from that agency that i like but how most of them look is more weird and somewhat disturbing when you really look at it. I guess thats why alot of their models get booked by clients.
