http://www.thefashionspot.com/forums...win-69944.html << I'm so disgusted. Look at her measurements.

Nobody can tell me that a 29 inch bust and 22 inch waist is attractive/healthy/admirable/whatever. I'm so shocked at how people just ignore the measurements and talk about how pretty she is. Do people not care? I'm not going to say much, but i'm truly sickened by most on this forum who condone this sort of thinness.

She´s only 14,so it´s hard to tell if she´s undeveloped or underdeveloped.
Anyway,as long as she hasn´t left adolescence I wouldn´t like her to become the next Vlada.
Okay, who was blaming River? In my post I stated that she "could be a perfectly healthy 14 year old" but I also stated that she should not be signed to an agency at all.

Similar to Grunge and very Kurt Cobain.

How old is she?

I'm not sure, but she could be 13 and her age still would not justify her being a working model with those measurements.

^Personally, I don't look at measurements because I wouldn't know how to interpret them anyway. I have no clue what the average measurements are for a model.

Since when is it ok for a 13 year old child to model anyway? Most of the clothes she would be modelling are designed for adults (and there is a very, very high possiblity that most of them have a bust that is a little bit bigger than 29 inches!). It's like a senior modelling clothes for an infant. It doesn't make sense, it's stupid. Yes models should be young/thin/beautiful but that doesn't mean a 13 year old with a 29 inch bust or River who is I heard 14, with a 21 inch waist.

It isn't necessarily the BMIs that decides whether a woman will menstruate. It's the body fat percentage. You can be extremley skinny but still have a substantial amount of fat(skinny-fat) and still menstrate as long as you have the minimum body fat. I guess that's why it's harder for women to lose weight compared to men.

I always get a teeny bit maternal when I think of these very young girls modeling. I always wonder what parent in their right mind would let their child loose in such a crazy industry at that age (or ever, really ).

You might not be able to interpret measurements, but common sense will lead you to believe that a 21 inch waist or 29 inch bust isn't normal by any circumstances.

^Well sure, but again-- that's assuming I'm even looking at them.

i can't really understand the measurements in inches either..

anyway, the agencies fudge numbers all the time..bookers rarely bother to confirm the actual specific numbers..

i have no personal knowledge of the girl but she doesn't look overly unhealthy to me..just the standard model skinny..

Yeah the fashion industry is no place for the very young.

Which girl are you referring to? Honestly, that's one sick booker to screw with those measurements and make them that small. I'd think that agencies would make measurements seem more ideal instead of sickly tiny.
