Why is Cameron Diaz still pulling in the most $ in Hollywood if her movies don't make any $?....

^I think maybe it's b/c they include independent films in their calculations, and independent films usually don't make a huge amount of $$$$.

I'm not surprised really, looking at the list I can't remember the last really good movie any of these people did. Although Cate Blanchett has done smaller movies recently to be fair (however the others haven't). Nicole is so overhyped, overbotoxed and overperoxided now.

I would say that has to be the case with Cate Blanchett being on here.
She could never be overpayed, IMO. She is always worth the $$.

I think the last indie NK did was Fur.

It doesn't mean she is overpaid - maybe if she wasn't in it the film would make even less. Personally I always enjoy her performances and she is beautiful

I love Nicole and i think she is one of the most talented actors in the biz, so whatever better to over pay her than someone else on that list like Cameron Diaz,J.Lo or Garner.

I don't think they should be going by what the movie makes in comparison to what the actor/actress earns, but rather, was their performance good enough to deserve their fee. I do think that a lot of the names mentioned on the list fall into the category of "overpaid actor", but the likes of Nicole Kidman and Cate Blanchett do not.

All actors...celebrities....are overpaid. I'm sorry...I REALLY take issue to the fact that actors and sports stars, etc. get paid so much for a living. They get paid 10 times more than people who work 10 times harder than them. It really makes me sick to my stomach.
