The odd thing about all this is that there is a huge industry which is based upon Photoshopping faces to get rid of wrinkles, smoothen the skin, make the eyes brighter etc etc. Also there are probably as many people who want to be professional retouchers as there are aspiring models.
I guess there is a demand for the Barbie retouch so a lot of retouchers will spend hours getting rid of all skin imperfections.
Am a professional retoucher and I know there is a way you can make someone perfect without getting rid of their soul, just depends on how you go about it. I dont know what people these mega brands are using

I started noticing the names in the campaigns when they began to make an abuse use of the photoshop. I don't know if the names were always there, but I only noticed it to check if it was who I thought could be, or if they have to put it because they left the models irrecognisable...
