My mouth literally just dropped when I read she had passed away.

She leaves such a legacy behind and she was one of the first figures in the industry that I noticed (how couldn't you not notice Anna).

She was widely regarded as a true style icon, with a wardrobe full of flamboyant, vibrant clothes, her dyed-blue hair always falling over one eye and lips ever painted in bright colours.

RIP Anna

A true style maverick! Her beautiful montages of images and text will be remembered forever. I think her last appearance was at Vivienne Westwood in Milan earlier this year.

For me as well. I remember buying Another Magazine for the first time (S/S 2003) and she was featured inside in an ed by David Bailey. She immediately caught my attention.

I loved her D.P. section for Vogue Italia.

one of the things i always remember about anna was not simply her passion for established designers but this woman made it an effort to be present at many of the smaller shows of the lesser-known designers. she was one of the first true international champions of belgian fashion back in the early 90's--and i don't mean just demeulemeester and dries either. eventually become a prize jury judge for the royal academy back in the late-90's. she was mesmerizing....flamboyant in a way that made her unique not crass.
