Truly sad day for fashion. One of the greats, one of the truly greats. He loved women like no other, made them into queens, goddesses. And like the song goes, he did it his way. RIP.

Now I'm wondering if that last show with Naomi opening and closing was meant to be a farewell...

Unlike many designers who claim that they are empowering women nowadays he was the one who was the master of that without making a noise about it. What's more he was a unique, independent couturier who always created magic.

Now I'm curious what will happen to the house. Are they going to find a replacement? Because that seems to be impossible.

That was a shock! This is such a terrible news...
He was a real talent, a real genius, a real master and one of the few last real couturier.
I feel lucky enough to have lived and enjoyed the pleasure of wearing his clothes when he was alive.

It's so strange to see once again one of your hero who made you love fashion, who made you feel empowered about owning your sexuality gone.

Thank god he was celebrated and received the love he deserved when he was alive.

Such a genius. RIP MR AZZEDINE.

Still in utter shock over this news, he was just on the cover of MF a week ago. What a great loss, RIP.
