John Hughes Dies
![]() John Hughes has died of a heart attack. Hughes suffered the heart attack while taking a morning walk during a trip to NYC to visit family. He directed such hits as "The Breakfast Club," "Pretty in Pink," "Sixteen Candles" and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." He was 59. Story developing... TMZ.com ---------- I will forever love The Breakfast Club. This man was the creators of teen flicks. He also made other great popcorn movies like Weird Science, Home Alone, Curly Sue and Beethoven. RIP.
