At least his struggle is now over and he has no more pain. He left a legacy to be proud of, but I'm so sad for his family.

I'm quite upset about this, it's a bit ridiculous.

It's interesting how Apple penetrated our lives, that I'm typing this in an Apple computer and I'm surrounded right at this minute by a lot of products his company created. Maybe that's what true immortality is all about.

Three Apples that changed the world: the one Eve ate, the one that fell on Newton’s head & the one that Steve built. 

RIP Steve, you made my life so much easier (I am typing this on my MacBook Pro with my iPhone beside me)

^that is so beautiful and true.

But even before the imacs and the iphones, he did something much more important: he created the mouse and the computer menu in a way that you didn't have to type the orders yourself and made computers accessible and easier for everyone to use.

^and let´s face it, Gates might be the most popular one but Jobs was the visionary. There wouldn´t be Windows if it wasn´t for Jobs and Apple...

Thanks Steve - no idea where I would be without my iPod/iPhone/iPad/Macbook. I can safely say he touched my life. RIP.

Bill Gates and Microsoft might not have won the PC war, had Apple not ousted Steve. With that said, I think he learned a lot from his years working with Pixar and NeXT that made him a better business man. Anyways, at least he's no longer in pain .

If anyone's interested, then his authorized biography is coming out end of October. I read that he wanted it written so his children would know their father better .
