1.she suddenly started to wear everything baggy
2.she's been camera shy, hiding her face
3.she's gained a few (not that its bad, she looks fabulous!)
4.she's been seen leaving the medical centers, etc.
5.and the most obvious one--the tummy!!

now add that all up...and go ahead, giving excuses away hehehe

Nicole her boyfriend, Joel Madden, showed up for the YSL Pool Party to benefit Center Dance Arts at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday night and she was conspicuously wearing a huge diamond engagement ring.

"It was one big rock surrounded by more diamonds," our source said. Richie refused to talk about the ring. Meanwhile, Madden was "overly attentive to her - keeping his arm around her all night - and repeatedly asked her if she was OK."

From watching The Simple Life (and i know it's scripted but still) she seems really immature for a 25 year old... IMO she's definately not mature enough for a baby. In her life she's never had to work for anything and pretty much had everything handed to her and done for her, she doesn't even cook! Or work! She seems like someone who'd really struggle with the responsibility of a child and hand it over to nannies. And she and Joel haven't been dating long at all, I mean they seem "so in love" and he is "overly attentive"- but no matter how in love you are, a child puts a huge impact on a relationship. I doubt they'd last very long if the rumours are true. So for hers and the child's sake, I hope it's not true.

It will be interested how this turns out. She had a horrible childhood in LA. I wonder how she is going to raise this baby. She has all the money in the world, but mentally. God help that child. I am surprised her body can even reproduce. But also, I have known people that have turned their life around when they got pregnant. This could be a blessing in disguise.
