From watching The Simple Life (and i know it's scripted but still) she seems really immature for a 25 year old... IMO she's definately not mature enough for a baby. In her life she's never had to work for anything and pretty much had everything handed to her and done for her, she doesn't even cook! Or work! She seems like someone who'd really struggle with the responsibility of a child and hand it over to nannies. And she and Joel haven't been dating long at all, I mean they seem "so in love" and he is "overly attentive"- but no matter how in love you are, a child puts a huge impact on a relationship. I doubt they'd last very long if the rumours are true. So for hers and the child's sake, I hope it's not true.

And it doesnt matter if you've never worked and have a child. I personally dont get the problem with that. Working at the office never learnt you how to take care of children as far as i know But i REALLY cant figure her out with a child. That'd be soo odd. I was shocked enough to see her with the fake pregnant woman belly in TSL4 so i dont want my nightmares to become true

Well according to celebrity baby blog, she is definitely pregnant. I know some people hate that site. But they are mostly accurate.


Update: We hear from a source close to Joel Madden that Nicole Richie is definitely pregnant -- over 7 weeks but under 12. The source says,

Joel and Nicole aren't confirming anything until she's 12 weeks or more. The baby was not a total accident, they are in a serious relationship and definitely want to get married eventually.

Nicole thought it would be a good time to get pregnant -- since her trial for DUI is coming up, she wanted to prove that she was 100% clean. Of course, the reason for her getting pregnant was not to get out of jail. She and Joel are very very happy. Every time I talk to him, he sounds less like the punk rebel he used to be, and more like a family man.
