I heard E news saying it was true. I call total bs about Nicole and Madden baby being planned and them wanting to start a family. And FYI Nicole many pregnant are send to jail. I say sound like a cold heart b!tch. But she is one stupid girl.

If she is pregnant, I hope she is taking very good care of herself and that she is able to carry the baby to term. I would be very curious to see some of her maternity wear! She is so teeny tiny that she could probably just get away with wearing bigger clothes though. I have a feeling that she is going to keep us all guessing for a while.

Maybe she had some kind of weird friendship pact with Paris?

I don't think there's anything wrong with Joel per se; but they have only been dating a couple of months. And yes it's nice that they're in love, but having a baby is really, really hard. It seems romantic, and it is in a way but a baby is a huge strain on a couple. Even if a couple are "so in love", many don't survive it because it's especially difficult if your relationship has never been tested, and people assume it's going to be a piece of cake and bring them closer together. It's a real test to the relationship, especially if they have only been together a short while and the relationship hasn't really had any ups and downs that inevitably come when the couple has been together for awhile.

And I didn't mean that the fact that she has never worked would impact on her mothering skills, I meant that she has never worked for anything. I mean come on- she scored The Simple Life because Nicky Hilton refused. She got a record deal because of who her father is. She became famous and a style icon by hiring a stylist and being photographed clubbing and shopping in nice, expensive outfits. So I guess what I mean is that everything has really just come easy to her, and a baby is definately not something that is easy and you can take care of without doing any work.

It's obvious she's pregnant, it's not just a rumor anymore... But i can't help remembering in one of the episode of the simple life 4 when she had to watch a video of a childbirth, she was so discusted and then she said "maybe i'll just adopt"

Btw,why is everybody suddenly a psychologist in here ?? It's so easy to say that she probably won't be a great mom because she never had to work and bla bla....seriously.I don't want to be mean but leave the poor girl alone,we just have to wait and see if she will handle it.Obvioulsy she decided to keep her baby (if she's really pregnant) so she knows that it won't be an easy job.

Los Angeles, CA (BANG) - Nicole Richie has further fuelled pregnancy rumors by abstaining from alcohol at a showbiz party. The 26-year-old - who allegedly received test results confirming she is pregnant two weeks ago - attended the Yves Saint Laurent Centre Dance Arts party at the Beverly Hills Hotel with boyfriend Joel Madden on Thursday night.
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "Nicole had everyone whispering when she declined alcohol."
"The Simple Life" star - renowned for her skinny frame - first sparked rumors after being photographed with an apparent baby bump.
A source told Life and Style Weekly magazine last week: "Nicole recently underwent a series of tests, including blood and urine screenings, which confirmed she is pregnant."
Nicole was photographed outside a reproductive clinic last month - just days after her alcohol-fuelled Memorial Day barbecue.
She is said to be going on a special diet for the sake of her unborn child. An insider said: "Nicole's determined to get healthy for her own sake and the baby's." The star's representative has refused to comment on the pregnancy reports.
Nicole, the adopted daughter of singer Lionel Richie, is said to be engaged to Good Charlotte frontman Joel. She is facing a possible jail sentence after she was arrested for DUI (driving under the influence) last December.

^ For many women, avoiding alcohol is a big sign of pregnancy, but I take this with a grain of salt in Nicole's instance. I mean, it could also be that she doesn't want to be photographed with alcohol so close to the time of her court hearing for her DUI. Not saying that this is the case, but it very well could be.
