Nicole was downright almost cruel and selfish to people on the simple life
And secondly, if the rumours are true that Nicole did screen a copy of Paris's porn video at a party, I think she's beyond downright cruel and selfish.

People seem to think just because she's lost weight and put on some pretty clothes, it automatically qualifies her as a 'sweet, nice, classy' girl.

In a bratty fit she poured bleach on an establishment's pool table becaue she thought she lost her purse!!! which really had nothing to do with the owners of the pub (I'm sure they had to pay to repair that).

that combines with the selfish reckless disrespect they had towards the local's businesses where they worked which may or may not have cost those people money. in their attmepts at self promotion they publically abused those people on the way.

The bleach incedent was not made up. It made the news because the owner of the establishment wanted tot ake her to court.

I've always had the impression that Nicole Richie was a sweet girl - even in her pre-weightloss days. I don't think she's classy, and I concede that she's probably even bratty, but she still seems fairly nice and sweet, anyway.

She was actually on drugs when that happened. It was on Oprah. People do crazy things when they are on something.
I'm not entirely defending her behaviour... I just remember seeing it on Oprah.

What makes Nicole seem "pretty sweet" to me is the how she treated me everytime I was introduced to her. My friend's little sister went to school with her and they are still friendly. I visit the girl's a few times a year in California. We have run into Nicole several times over the years and they always talk to her. She has always been very nice, funny and friendly to us everytime we've seen her. So I am going by personal experiences and from people who actaully know and have known her. I'm not going by "The Simple Life" or assuming where people have formed their opinions from.

Nicole Richie's Comments Upset LA Family

Nicole Richie's Comments Upset L.A. Family

Nicole Richie apparently upset a Los Angeles family during a taping of The Simple Life last week by stopping an 11-year-old boy in his driveway and asking him, in graphic terms, if he found her attractive.

Two camera operators and another crew taped the exchange, during which Richie used a profane word, the Associated Press reports.

The youngster's father subsequently refused to sign a release giving them permission to use the scene with his son. Instead he complained to the show's production company.

At the time Richie, 24, approached the boy while he was playing basketball and she was pushing a baby carriage – part of her show's new season twist. The program, which was recently dropped by FOX but picked up by E! and renamed Simple Life 4: Till Death Do Us Part, costars Paris Hilton. It will return to the air in the spring.

"The girls are taking turns on their own as wife and mother in their own house," said show publicist Chris Delhomme. "The premise is fish out of water. These rich celebutantes in the environment they know little about. That's the comedy."

Richie's publicist did not return calls seeking comment about her encounter with the 11-year-old.

^I think it would have to be somewhat serious to have the father get that angry.

This just goes to show that clothes and style doesn't necessarily make a person 'classy'.

It's Nicole.. I wouldn't be surprised if that was true. She does save the show with her humor though. They just want to blow the story up...

You'd be surpised of the amount of over-sensitive parents.
