Does anybody know how much Anna Wintour makes per year? How much does a 'regular' editor at Vogue earn?

there was something about salaries somewhere...
i think in the fashion daily...
anna must make around 1/2 a million...
a 'regular editor'...could make anywhere from 30,000 to maybe a few top ones $200,000 max...i think...maybe not even that much...most of them do freelance work on the side for extra income...

it depends on what kind of editor and what magazine...

That's it!?! I was thinking at a least 1 million. Though she doesn't spend much on clothes since all the designers throw things at her.

It really depends on the magazine. People like Anna Wintour, Graydon Carter, and a very rare few probably do rake in sizeable incomes. But others (especially those at independent magazines) probably wouldn't make more than $80,000 at the very most.

That isn't THAT much, but still decent, after all these aren't the toughest jobs anyway (it's not like these editors need to manage a whole company or have the stress of a designer).

I recall reading somewhere she makes close to a million dollars per year, that not counting all the endless amount of free stuff she gets.

she's in the limelight so much, i would have expected more than that... but i suppose 500,000-1 mil is quite reasonable..

But hey imagine all the freebies, all the parties and all the perks. still i think vogue paris, british ,italy even brazilian one much better than the america version.
