You guys are on a roll, pretty much like the creative team of Paris Vogue itself I didn't think the September book was THAT great, but it was solid....otherwise, like we can see from your postings, it has been such a great few years for this magazine Fave ed of the year must be the April ed by Demarchelier and Carine. I'm so enamoured by that ed, I just can't express it I'd like to have a huge poster with one of it's pix, really, that's how nuts I'm for it...

Yeah, I don't even speak French so I can't even read half of VP, that's how crazy I am about it!

I just write down whatever comes to my mind when I see these editorials. They are forever inspiring. Glad you enjoy my ramblings!

Btw iluvjeisa you're a great supporter of this thread and I was curious what you felt we could do to take it to the next level?

Oh goodness.....taking it to the next level....you are doing a great job

One could talk about references to the different shoots, speculating about it, I suppose, or talk about which outfits were chosen and why. Where are they drawing inspiration from, stuff like that. But as you know - I already love this thread...

Remix de Balenciaga

in this editorial, M.A Sauvé & Ghesquière choose dresses (&accesoiries) from Balenciaga's archives - from 1933 to 1968 - to put them in front of Ghesquières recent work. It shows how Ghesquière uses perfectly the Archives in a modern way.

credits :
#1 robe "Ballon" en organdi d'Abraham, Balenciaga HC summer 1960 + vintage Balenciaga "bracelet".
#2 the same outfit re-interpreted by N. Ghesquière in "gazar de soie" (invented by Cristobal).
#3 Extrem re-interpretation of the "robe Ballon" + Vintage necklace from Balenciaga.
#4 Decomposition de la robe Ballon.

omg my english is really bad!
