I second that!! Those previews are not really appealing. However I like what they say about the magazine aim in the article + I'm sure the final product will be completely different.
My only real concern is the name of the magazine , I find it a bit obnoxious.

^ September I'm very much looking forward to this! It seems like an interesting project, and I'm happy that Carine will be back in the magazine business again.

I get the same feeling too...and if Testino is allowed to shoot for V (which is owned by the company that will publish CR) why can't he also shoot for Carine's magazine?

The budget of course is going to be low, just because she's a well known industry figure nothing can guarantee its success, hence why it would seem such a low budget, if it gains popularity then I would presume Carine could be more frivolous in what she does, but for now she will definitely have to keep her eye on the figures.

But wasn't it mentioned a while back that it would be printed in such small quantities ?

The price has also surprised me, I was expecting something in the €20 price bracket...

The masthead/cover layout is terrible. Must be a trend now for new magazines to use very ugly and unconventional mastheads (LOVE magazine.)

^ It's interesting that Carine chose a sexy angle to style her pregnant daughter. Is it me or does Julia look uncomfortable?

She does. Maybe it's just the result of bad photoshop, but none of her expressions look genuine. Her face is very taunt and unrelaxed in all the pictures. And she doesn't come across that way in her fashion topic here (always smiling and at ease).

Don't really care for that editorial though. I love the last pic, but the rest of it looks more like 16 year old girl hobo trying to be fashionable, than an edgy, fun, risque editorial. (Although this being Carine, I wouldn't be surprised if she was trying to spoof the teen pregnancy epidemic. I just don't think it turned out cuz Julia looks so stiff and lifeless in those pics.)

i don`t find it sexy. I think Julia looks just lovely and that`s all. no provocation this time, no sexiness even when we see her semi-nude.
